EEGUARD’s new design separates functions via a secure OSDP wired link: the EA021 keypad/reader—rated IP66 for resistance against rain, dust, and extreme weather—is mounted in unsecured outdoor areas to collect credentials (card/PIN), while the EA006M V2 controller, which manages access logic, relays, and security functions (e.g., door status monitoring), remains protected inside.
